CHANGES to Summer Women’s Bible Study The summer Bible study has been changed to Thursday evenings and will begin on June 15th at 7:00 p.m. It will still run for nine weeks. Lyne Guthrie will be leading this study using the book, Lord, I’m Torn Between Two Masters by Kay Arthur. This book is a study through Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Jesus challenged His followers to pursue a faith without compromise, without anxiety, and without judgmentalism. He encouraged them to build a faith that bears fruit, a faith built on rock, a faith that would be true to the only Lord and Master. Will you join us in this study? If so, please sign up in the foyer. The cost of the book is $15 and can be purchased from the office anytime. Please work through Chapter 1 before June 15th.
Child Celebration We are planning a Child Celebration service for Father’s Day, June 18th and another one sometime in the fall. Those families planning to participate in one of these services are asked to contact the church office as soon as possible to let us know your intentions.
Summer Soccer Camp Peoples Church will be offering a soccer camp this summer for kids ages 8-12. The camp is intended to be a ministry to not just our own kids but also to the community, so consider inviting non-church families. The camp will be held July 17-21 here at the church. Registration forms are available at the Welcome Centre and will be taken in at the office. Fees must accompany your registration please.
Gymnasium Closed After Service Today The gym will NOT be available after the service today as there are wedding materials waiting to be picked up. Please make your children aware of this.
Baptism The baptism service planned for June 11th has been postponed to a later date. Those who wish to be baptized should contact the church office if they wish to participate in an upcoming service.

At 5:00 p.m., the Missions Committee will host a delicious dinner featuring beef on a bun, salads, and other items in the Fellowship Hall with our visiting missionaries. Then at 6:30 p.m. we will move to the Worship Hall and hear from our own Stephanie Vandertil. Please sign up for the dinner before June 18th at the sign-up desk near the front doors.
