Be sure to visit the table in the foyer after the service today to reserve the few remaining spots.

Baptism Service A baptism service will take place next Sunday, June 10th. Pray for those who are taking this step of obedience to our Lord as they prepare to share their testimonies. It is always encouraging to hear how the Lord has drawn souls to Himself.

Good Old-Fashioned Family Hootenanny We’s gonna have ourselves a Hootenanny! Brochures are available at the Welcome Centre and completed forms can be brought, along with your registration fee of $25 per child, to the office.

Summer Women’s Bible Study Because of Thursday’s women’s event Thursday, this group will meet on Wednesday, June 6th at 7:00 p.m. for this week only. Copies of the book, Lord Is It Warfare? Teach Me to Stand by Kay Arthur are still available in the office if needed. The cost is $15. Women are welcome to join the class anytime.

Petition to the Prime Minister A very troubling piece of legislation has recently been brought before the House of Commons. Bill C-75 proposes lightening the sentences on very serious crime, such as: participation in activity of a terrorist group, obstructing or violence to or arrest of officiating clergyman, punishment for infanticide, abduction of person under the age of 16, impaired driving causing bodily harm, and many others. A strong criminal justice system must put the rights of victims and communities before special treatment for perpetrators of violent crime. Therefore, we encourage you to sign a petition at the table in the foyer seeking to draw the Prime Minister’s attention to our concerns for this Bill.

Peoples Church Two-Pitch Games begin at 6:10 p.m. in Marthaville with the Captians facing the Fisher Cats and in Oil Springs the Sea Wolves taking on the Owlz. Then at 7:30 p.m. in Marthaville the Grasshoppers play the Rubber Ducks while in Oil Springs the Fire Flies play the Voyagers. All are welcome and encouraged to come cheer on the teams as they play. It’s just as much fun on the bleachers as on the field!

SNACKS - For those of you who enjoy a little treat while watching your favourite team, make a point to stop by the concession table at the Marthaville diamond. Cold drinks and various snacks are on sale and all money goes to the Cuban Building Project. Bring your loose change, treat yourself or a loved one to sweet treat, and support our Cuba missionaries!
