Good Old-Fashioned Family Hootenanny We’s gonna have ourselves a Hootenanny! The Ministry of Men has planned a church-wide family-friendly event for this Saturday, June 23rd beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Good Old-Fashioned Family Hootenanny will include games, a concert by Lindley Creek, a Gospel message, BBQ, bonfire, and fellowship. There is no cost but tickets are required and will be available today after the service. This is your last Sunday to reserve your tickets, so don’t delay. You are welcome to invite family and friends, but be sure to get tickets for them as well.

Soccer Camp Registration continues for the summer soccer camp running from July 30th through August 3rd led by Pastor Nick. This camp is for kids ages 8-12. Brochures are available at the Welcome Centre and completed forms can be brought, along with your registration fee of $25 per child, to the office. Everyone is encouraged to invite friends and neighbours to the camp so that they too can come and learn about a Saviour who loves them and desires to be in relationship with them.

Ministry of Men: Watch, Read, Write, Pray! The Ministry of Men is recommending this Read Scripture app for electronic devices for everyone. Handouts are available at the Welcome Centre for more information, or speak to someone at the Ministry of Men table in the foyer.

Prayer Journals The Ministry of Men has a table set up in the foyer where you can purchase the Battle Plan Prayer Journals ($10) to go along with the Read Scripture app mentioned above, or use the journal on its own.

Cuban Home Rebuilding Project Celebration The fundraising efforts for this project will formally end on June 30th. Many have participated in various creative ways, and some groups are still in process, causing the thermometer to burst, surpassing our goal of rebuilding 16 homes in Cuba! We will celebrate this during the service on Sunday, July 1st and also have cake for everyone after the service as we praise God for the privilege to help our brothers and sisters in Cuba in their need.

Peoples Church Two-Pitch This Tuesday evening in Marthaville, the Sea Wolves will play the Captains at 6:10 followed by the Rubber Ducks vs. the Voyagers at 7:30. Meanwhile in Oil Springs at 6:10, the Fisher Cats take on the Fireflies followed by the Grasshoppers vs. the Owlz at 7:30. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come cheer on the teams as they play. It’s almost as much fun on the bleachers as on the field!

SNACKS - For those of you who enjoy a little treat while watching your favourite team, make a point to stop by the concession table at the Marthaville diamond. Cold drinks and various snacks are on sale and all proceeds go to the Cuban Home Rebuilding Project. Bring your loose change, treat yourself or a loved one to a sweet treat, and support our Cuban friends!

AGC Connect The annual AGC Connect newsletter was placed in mailboxes this week. We encourage you to read it to get more familiar with our brothers and sisters in the Associated Gospel Churches.
