Upcoming Wedding
People’s Church would like to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Janessa vanDaalen to Jamie Klazinga. In lieu of a bridal shower, we will be collecting donations toward a group gift to bless the couple. If you are interested in contributing, please see Tiffany vanKlinken, mailbox D23.

Free Store
We are now collecting items for the Free Store in August. You can store your goods in the back Sunday School room at the bottom of the stairs. We will not be accepting books this year. If you are able to help on Friday for set up or on Saturday for the event, please sign the sheet at the Welcome Centre. Many helpers are needed! Call Jody Burger at 519-332-2983 for more information.

Mark Your Calendars
The Mission Committee is planning to celebrate our newest missionaries, Pastor Charles and Lise Cote, at Peoples Church with a French Café on Sunday, July 27th at 5:00 p.m. There will be a light supper consisting of croissants, bagels, fruits and assorted cheeses followed by a presentation from the Cote’s about their work and vision for the Blainville, Quebec area. A love offering will be taken.

Blessing Cupboard
The Blessing Cupboard needs to be restocked and could use some of the following canned items: fruits, vegetables, potatoes and meat (such as tuna, ham, chicken), spaghetti sauce, hearty stews and soups. Breakfast cereal, kraft dinner, crackers and instant oatmeal packages are needed too. We are not able to accept open packaging. Gift cards from Price Chopper or No Frills would also be appreciated. Please place on the “Blessing Cupboard” table in the foyer or in Sarah Sipkens’ mailbox A20.

Bridal Shower
All ladies are invited to attend a bridal shower for Amanda Deelstra on Monday, July 14th at  7:00 p.m.  Come on out to bless Amanda for her upcoming marriage to Jamie Bydeley in August. Those who wish to contribute to a group gift, please see Erin Booy, mailbox E22.

Two-Pitch
Every Tuesday evening, beginning at 6:10 p.m. eight baseball teams from People’s Church compete at the Camlachie Community Centre. Come and watch all the action! All the stats are posted on the website: twopitch.peopleslambton.com

Men’s Summer Book Read
All men are encouraged to pick up a copy of R.C. Sproul’s book, “The Truth of the Cross” for summer reading. Cost is $5.

Farewell
People’s Church would like to honour Pastor Kors & Heather Pater for the time that they have spent in ministry, fellowship and love with us. You will be missed. We wish you well as you move on in your ministry. We pray God’s blessing upon you as you seek to serve the Lord with your lives. We pray that you will keep in touch and that you know that you are always welcome here at People’s Church. Immediately following the morning service, all are invited to come to the Fellowship Hall to wish Pastor Kors & Heather well and to enjoy a piece of cake.
