Children Ministries
Let the little children come to Me.
NurseryOur nursery allows parents to leave their young children (birth to age 2) while they attend EXALT classes and the worship service. Our nursery is committed to meeting the needs of our family by providing a safe, nurturing, Christ centered environment for the children that parents entrust to us. Our dedicated nursery staff is made up entirely of women and teen girls from our church who have been approved and cleared by our Elders and the proper authorities (according to the standards set by People's Church). Jr. ChurchOur Jr. Church allows parents to leave their older children (aged 2-5) while they attend the worship service. Our Jr. Church is committed to meet the needs of our family by providing a safe, nurturing, Christ centered environment for the children that parents entrust to us. Jr. Church offers two separate classes to further meet the needs of your child. Jr. Church I is for ages 2&3 while Jr. Church II is for ages 4&5, however, we understand that some siblings may wish to join their brother or sister in one of the two classes. The dedicated Jr. Church staff is made up entirely of women and teen girls from our church who have been approved and cleared by our Elders and the proper authorities (according to the standards set by People's Church.) Sunday SchoolOur Children's Sunday School provides an opportunity for children to learn God's Word, and begin the process of understanding Christ in their lives. Through Bible teaching, applicable activities, crafts, and worship our dedicated team of teachers and leaders seek to see children come to a saving knowledge of Jesus in their lives. Every Sunday morning beginning at 9:15 a.m. our classes begin for those children Aged 2 to Grade 6 and conclude at 10:15 a.m. AWANAAwana which stands for "Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed" is our children's outreach program at People's Church. Awana runs every Wednesday night (7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) from September to May at People's Church. Awana is a Bible based program for boys and girls age 4 to Grade 6. Through exciting Awana games, challenging Bible messages, and the memorization of God's Word, Awana seeks to see children come into a relationship with Christ and invite their friends to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior also.
